Terms of Service

Who we are. Carve My Waves™ is a brand of PR Signature Standards Holding LLC, based in St. Louis, Missouri. By using this store or buying from us, you agree to these terms. Questions: rhoades2clean@gmail.com.

Products and descriptions

We work to describe and photograph products accurately. Because many of our items are printed or made to order, the finished piece can vary slightly from the images on your screen — computer and phone screens show colors differently, and print placement on each custom item can vary a little. Those normal variations are part of made-to-order production and are not defects.

Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices are in US dollars. We may correct pricing errors, and we may cancel and refund an order affected by an obvious error or suspected fraud. Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment processors.

Custom and made-to-order products

Many products — including custom boards and print-on-demand items — are made only after you order. Orders pass through a payment-processing hold before production or fulfillment is released — for custom boards, production is typically released about 5 days after ordering. Production timelines on product pages are estimates that begin once production is released. You may cancel a custom order for a full refund at any time before production is released; once production begins, the order cannot be changed or cancelled. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.

Digital products

Digital books are delivered electronically after purchase. Your purchase is a license for your personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, or share the files.

Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, logos, images, and text in this store are the property of Carve My Waves™ / PR Signature Standards Holding LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, copy, print, sell, or create derivative works from our designs or artwork without our written permission. Buying a product transfers the physical item only — never the rights to the artwork on it.

Acceptable use

Use this store lawfully. Do not use it for fraud, to infringe anyone's rights, to upload or transmit harmful code, or to interfere with the store's operation.

Sports safety — please read

Board sports are inherently risky. Skateboarding, surfskating, surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and similar activities can cause serious injury or death, even for experienced riders using proper equipment. By buying gear from us, you acknowledge and accept the risks of the activity itself. We sell equipment; no equipment makes these sports safe.

Protective gear such as helmets and pads reduces but does not eliminate the risk of injury.
Inspect your helmet and gear before every use. Do not use damaged gear. Replace any helmet after any impact, crash, or hard drop — a helmet that has taken an impact may be compromised even if it looks fine — and follow the manufacturer's replacement guidance.
Nothing sold in this store is a medical device, and nothing we sell prevents injury.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for sizing, fitting, use, and care. Check conditions (water, weather, snow, terrain, traffic) before your ride, ride within your ability, learn progressively, and follow local rules and laws.

No guarantees

Nothing on this site — including in our books, guides, and product descriptions — guarantees earnings, income, business results, athletic outcomes, or any other result. Stories and examples are illustrative only.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Missouri law, our total liability for any claim connected to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product or order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of a product, your use of the store in violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
